S&S MEDICAL BILLING SOLUTIONS offers training to successfully start a career in Medical Billing.  Training is conducted by a qualified specialist, sharing experiences and steps to a successful business.

Our goal is for you to obtain a working knowledge of how to set up your business and begin a medical billing career. Once you learn the basics of how the medical billing industry works and have mastered an area, consistently work on developing an understanding and transition your business into different areas of the healthcare industry.  Focus on expanding your knowledge and opportunities as well as your financial success.

We’ll give you the basics you need to get started.  After training you’ll have an understanding of the steps you need to take, including the first step to starting and setting up your business.  Training will cover marketing techniques, pricing your services, insurance overviews such as Major Medical, Medicare, Workers Compensation and Auto.  Included are sample letters to insurance companies and service agreements between you and your prospective clients, and more. We’ll introduce you to medical terminology, how to use and recognize medical terms, an understanding of CPT (procedure) and ICD-9 (diagnosis) codes, and how to use your patient accounting software.

Once you have a working knowledge of how to run and operate your business successfully, utilize your skills and resources to expand your business.  Set goals for yourself as well as your business.  At this point, you’re only limited by the limits you put on yourself.
